Dan Perritt is a local artist in a variety of media who is a disabled U.S. Navy OIF veteran, honorably discharged as HM3(FMF) in 2011, after two deployments (’08 and ’09). Upon separating from the service Dan went on to Southern Illinois University to complete dual degrees (with honors) in History and Political Science. He was chosen for publishing in SIU’s history Legacy journal of 2015. Following SIU, Dan attended King’s College London’s Terrorism, Security, and Society program in the Department of War Studies. Upon completion my performance, he earned a merit for the program with a high distinction on my dissertation.
