Six Artist Pairs Featured at Grey Raven Gallery’s August Reception
On Friday, August 1, Grey Raven Gallery invites you to the opening of Parallel Views, an artist reception featuring the work of 12 accomplished artists presented in six unique pairings. Each duo brings a special creative relationship to the gallery, offering new insight into what it means to share artistic space and inspiration.
The following six artist pairs will be featured at this special event.

- Erik Sandgren (painter and printmaker) & Kathryn Cotnoir (painter)
- Robert Gamblin (painter) & Catherine Kumlin Gamblin (painter, illustrator, writer)
- Doug Pettitt (photographer) & Carolyn Pettitt (painter)
- Stephen Adams (multimedia sculptor) & Robert Elon (glass and multimedia sculptor)
- Natalie Warrens (ceramicist) & Nancy Wilkins (metalworker)
These artist partnerships highlight the power of shared vision, collaboration and creative support. Each pair has their own story, reflected both in their art and in their conversations. Some will even share a few words about their experience working alongside their “other half.” Don’t be surprised if a video camera is rolling to capture these spontaneous moments.
