Grey Raven Gallery is proud to present Parallel Views, a special August exhibition celebrating the unique connections and creative synergy between six artist pairs, many who are local artists regularly featured at Grey Raven Gallery. The show runs from August 1–31, 2025, with regular gallery hours Tuesday through Saturday.
This month’s exhibition shines a spotlight on six creative artist pairs whose partnerships are at the heart of Parallel Views.
- Michael Pedemonte (woodworker) and Gayle Pedemonte (painter)
- Erik Sandgren (painter and printmaker) and Kathryn Cotnoir (painter)
- Robert Gamblin (painter) and Catherine Kumlin Gamblin (painter, illustrator, writer)
- Doug Pettitt (photographer) and Carolyn Pettitt (painter)
- Stephen Adams (multimedia sculptor) and Robert Elon (glass and multimedia sculptor)
- Natalie Warrens (ceramicist) and Nancy Wilkins (metalworker)
Each pair brings a distinct perspective to their work, and their unique partnerships are reflected both in the art on display and in the stories they share with the community.
August Exhibition Explores Creative Partnerships
Parallel Views offers a look into the special relationships that can form when two artists share the same roof, whether as partners, friends or collaborators. The exhibition highlights how creative ideas, encouragement, feedback and shared experiences shape their artistic journeys. Guests are invited to explore the diversity of mediums, from woodworking, metalworking and ceramics to painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture, all while discovering the stories that connect each duo.
Parallel Views Artist Reception Kicks Off the Show
Join us for the opening of Parallel Views on Friday, August 1, from 5 PM to 8 PM. Enjoy an evening of art, conversation and community as several artist pairs share informal commentary about their creative journeys together. All are welcome to attend this lively event.
Art Sales Benefit Artists and Art Education
All artwork is available for purchase, directly supporting the featured artists and Grey Raven Gallery’s mission of fostering local talent. A portion of proceeds from sales helps fund Golden Road Arts, a nonprofit offering free art lessons to children, families and educators throughout the area. Your support makes a difference for both artists and aspiring young creatives.
