Naturally Northwest: Prints and Poems Project

Over 25 Print Arts Northwest (PAN) artists are partnering with local poets to collaborate on a series of solarplates, combining selected poems with printed elements to create a unique exhibition. The final prints will be a joint exhibit between Solarplate.com, Dan Welden, and PAN.

Dan Welden of Solarplate.com has generously donated a cache of plates to PAN for the project, thanks to his long-time association with PAN and past PAN President, Barbara Mason. Poet Laureate of Oregon, Paulann Petersen, who has collaborated with Barbara on other print projects, has selected the poets and poems that will be included in the project.

Grey Raven Gallery will be exhibiting the project from November 4 – November 29.

We will kick off the show with a reception on Nov 7 from 5 – 8pm. Regular gallery hours are from Tuesday – Saturday, 11 am – 5 pm.

The exhibit will also feature prints from the eighth annual 2025 Emerald Print Exchange, an exchange among 200 printmakers from around the world, as well as Grey Raven Gallery printmakers’ works.
